Janhvi Kapoor And Kartik Aaryan In Vying For The Same Love Interest In “Dostana 2”

Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan will not be paired up as a couple but siblings to romance the same person in Karan Johar’s “Dostana 2”.

Actor Kartik Aaryan and actress Janhvi Kapoor will play siblings in romance with the same person in the sequel to the 2008 comedy of Karan Johar named Dostana 2. A report noted that producer Karan Johar will choose a newbie in the entertainment industry to play the third lead role in the film.

Karan wrote in his announcement on Twitter saying that

The original Dostana in 2008 featured Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham in the lead roles.

Karan had driven Janhvi Kapoor in his 2018 directorial Dhadak to be opposite to Ishaan Khatter. Janhvi will appear one more time in his next drama called Takht.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan after the successful role in Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety alongside actress Luka Chuppi and Kriti Sanon will also play Pati Patni Aur Woh's remake.

Even when not being paired in Dostana 2, Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan will show an impressive brother-sister zone, which promises to give the signature scenes of the film.
