"I Have Recovered Well And Feeling Fine", Rishi Kapoor Confirm He Is Coming Back India

Ranbir Kapoor's father - veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is in the US to receive treatment for cancer now, but he seems to back fit and fab soon as the actor just confirmed the good news.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, he said:  “Yes, I am trying to return by August end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back.”

A source then added weight to his claim said that Rishi Kapoor won the battle with cancer and being '100% cancer-free'.

"He is staying at a private apartment and enjoying life in the Big Apple. Being a cricket buff, he is also following the on-going cricket World Cup in England and keeps discussing the results of the matches with his friends in India,” the source revealed.

Last month, after receiving treatment for eight months in New York, the 66-year-old actor took to his social media saying that he missed India terribly. His post read: “Today I complete eight months here in New York. When will l ever get home?”

During this hard time, wife Neetu Kapoor, however, always stays side by side him while Ranbir Kapoor and his alleged lover Alia Bhatt were seen flying to New York frequently to visit him. Many other Bollywood superstars like Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Vicky Kaushal also visited Rishi Kapoor when they come to New York.

After visiting the veteran actor, Neetu Kapoor shared the images to Instagram, captioned: "He gave the tightestttt Hug and the longesttt kiss n said half of this love is from his mom Hiroo sometimes simple words mean so big...  love love him #karanjohar#fulloflove#lotsoffun."

Earlier this year, Ranbir in an interview expressed his father concern about the possibility to get work in a film or if anyone wants to offer him a role when he comes back.

“Whenever I speak to him (Rishi), he only talks about movies. He only talks about ‘how is this film?’, ‘how is this film doing?’, ‘how is this performance?’, what are you doing in this scene? And more so, he speaks to me about his insecurities that when he gets back, will he get to work in movies? Whether people will offer him films? Will he be able to act in movies?” Ranbir said.
