From The Khans, Ranbir Kapoor To Deepika Padukone, Actors Having No Show In 2019

Nearly a half of 2019 has passed, and we witnessed several Bollywood big names starring in different films, be it Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor to Varun Dhawan, Amitabh Bachchan. While in these coming months, many actors will turn busy with many projects lined up, some have no show in the year 2019. Let’s take a look.

Aamir Khan

On his 54^th birthday this year, the megastar made the revelation about his upcoming venture titled Laal Singh Chaddha which is a Hindi version of the legendary Hollywood superhit Forrest Gump. The makers also went on to announce the release date of the film which is on Christmas day 2020.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya is by far one of the most frequenters on the headlines of many news portals, though she has also signed no film project this year. Her latest Bollywood film was Fanney Khan releasing last August.

Anushka Sharma

2018 seemed to be a busy year for Anushka with four films in her kitty including Pari, Sui Dhaaga: Made in India, Sanju, and Zero. However, 2019 turned out to be a year of break and vacations for the actress as she hasn’t starred in any film releasing this year. Speaking of the same, the star told Hindustan Times, “I think I have reached that position and security as an actor in my career, where I don’t need to do things or sign film just because I have to fill up time.”

Deepika Padukone

Despite being a household name, the fact is that Deepika Padukone has no film to star in 2019. DP who was last seen in the 2018 blockbuster Padmaavat will be coming back to the big screen in the film Chhapaak in Jan 2020.

Ranbir Kapoor

The Filmfare award winner and actor Ranbir Kapoor’s name is also listed in the list of celebs having no show in 2019. The actor was earlier supposed to have only one release in 2019, and that is Brahmastra. However, director Ayan Mukerji recently announced that the film has been postponed and will hit the screens in summer 2020 instead.

Shah Rukh Khan

The list starts with a Khan and finishes with another Khan too. SRK was last seen in the film Zero which soon became a box office flop due to bad words of mouth. Even though reports about the third installment of his hit series Don made the news regularly, nothing has been confirmed on the appearance of King Khan in the sequel this year.

In an interview with China Radio Internation, when asked about the forthcoming projects, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Main tabhi acting karta hun jab mere dil mein aata hai. To hiss waqt mera dil nahi kar raha hai. (I only act when I feel like and currently, I don’t feel like doing it.)”

The absence of Shah Rukh Khan or Deepika Padukone on the big screen is bound to leave their fans a bit upset. However, we hope to see them back with blockbusters.
