Director Opens Up About Kissing Scene Of Ayushmann Khurrana

Much awaited Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan will boldly speak on homophobic society. The film is a sequel of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and is produced by Aanand L Rai, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan also stars Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Pankhuri Awasthy, Manurishi Chadha, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo and Neeraj Singh. It is slated for a release on February 21, 2020. Director Hitesh Kewalya in an interview wit a leading daily spoke in detail about the film and the kissing scene of Ayushmann Khurrana.
During the interaction, Hitesh Kewaliya said that the kissing scene of Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar was never questioned by thee censor board. The entire team played on front foot and they did not wanted to hide anything in the film. He hoped that the film will change the mind of society towards gay community. He also said that the film had a great story line and they knew about the way audience will treat their film.
Talking about capabilities of Ayushmann Khurrana, the director said that despite winning national award Ayushmann Khurrana is still the same a middle class boy who had won Roadies. He is down to earth and this makes him important as an actor. His capabilities towards the craft of acting has been very fluid and he never boasted about his capabilities.
Talking about the importance of this film, he said, the gay community has been discriminated in the society and has never been portrayed with dignity and respect. The film is an appeal to the audience to not discriminate with the gay community. The best way to send a message is to appeal in a humorous way. It is very unfair to discriminate people on the basis of their sexuality. This is an issue we must address and resolve it accordingly.
