Dinesh Vijan Announces Go Goa Gone 2, Story Revolves Around Aliens

Go Goa Gone 2 will have a new twist in the story which will revolve around main star cast surviving alien apocalypse.

Filmmaker Dinesh Vijan is all set with the plot of sequel for Go Goa Gone. The director announced Go Goa Gone 2 which will be release in March 2021. The film is backed by Eros International and Maddock Films. The part one was released in 2013 starring Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Puja Gupta. Dinesh Vijan confired that the team of Roohi Afzana is writing the sequel. However, the film revolve around aliens and will be a comedy film like the previous one.
The first part revolved around zombies where the entire star cast were stranded on an island and were surrounded by zombies. The film did not receive much appreciation and failed to do well at the box office. Talking about the sequel, Dinesh Vijan said that Eros loves the film and announced it on their social media platforms. He said that the star cast will be given much more to do in the 2.0 version but will have same emotions, same comic timing and stoner comedy with a new journey.
However, the old star cast of Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Puja Gupta have not been approached so far. Dinesh Vijan and producers want the star cast to be happy with their role and so they are working towards it. He also said that the film will have two new additions of one male actor and one female actor. The film will go on floors in September 2020 and will release in March 2021. Go Goa Gone followed three men whose holiday to Goa turns out to be a zombie nightmare. Saif played the role of Boris, a Russian mobster-turned-zombie hunter, in the Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK-directed film.
