The dastardly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir which claimed at least 40 CRFP personnel lives has sparked outrage in the country. In the light of recent event, Bollywood celebrities also raised their voice and come out into support the country.
Yesterday, Pakistan announced that they will release Indian pilot in its custody by today, a decision that was welcomed by two sides. Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities are also showing their support by canceling film promotion and events.
Dilijt Dosanjh who flew to Delhi a few days ago to inaugurate his first wax statue at the wax museum also informed about the postponing of the event.
“Our soldiers are fighting hard to protect the Nation. We stand by our soldiers. Amidst the tensions rising across the Nation, have decided to re-schedule the launch of #MadameTussauds WAX Statue,” the actor wrote.
Later, Madama Tussauds officially announced the news on their Twitter account. The post read: “...We all stand by our nation at this important juncture. We will inform you about the new launch schedule once it is finalised. We regret the inconvenience caused and hope to see you soon.”
Akshay Kumar who next to be seen on The Kapil Sharma show also postponed the shooting and made some special request. “Akshay and Kapil had a discussion and the actor has pushed the shoot date for the comedy show by another two-three weeks. He has also requested Kapil that people from the Armed Forces should be invited among the audience, so they can support the country and raise funds for Bharat Ke Veer.”
Many other events, TV shows and shooting calendar also canceled or tweaked the date such as Day 2 of the Rising India Summit, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
