Tiger Shroff Wishes For Baaghi 3 Re-release Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

As all theatres have been closed to minimize the spread of coronavirus outbreak, many movie releases have been postponed and Baaghi 3 is not an exception. A few days after hitting the theaters on March 5nd, the Tiger Shroff starrer had to put a stop despite a massive positive response. 

Baaghi 3 incurring a huge loss

There is no doubt that the movie’s been severely affected by the pandemic. Recently, movie critic Rohit Jaiswal pointed out that Baaghi 3 might lose up to Rs 30-40 crore due to the unexpected shutdown. He also added that Tiger Shroff’s debut film SOTY2 could have done better at the box office without the release of Ramazan. 

In response to the film critic, Tiger Shroff expressed the same idea. He also thanks Jaiswal for his valuable comment and added that he is hoping for the movie to re-release. 

Coronavirus outbreak is hitting Bollywood hard

In the first week of release, the Ahmed Khan directorial has collected Rs 90 crore before being delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak in India. Meanwhile, the global epidemic causes Bollywood an Rs 800 crore loss with all shooting being canceled and theatres are closed.

Apart from Baaghi 3, Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium which has just released on March 12nd also incurs a huge loss at the box office. According to the official announcement, public places like gyms, schools or theaters will not be open until the end of March.
