Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut is known for giving controversial statements about her industry fraternity from Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh to Karan Johar, Aamir Khan. The Manikarnika star has spoken about several issues involving her peers from nepotism, celebs not expressing their opinions on political topics to even told them of ganging up on and not supporting her.

This time is no exception; the actress has recently taken a dig at Kalank star Alia Bhatt. She said that Alia’s work as Safeena in film Gully Boy “mediocre,” and even urged everyone to not “pamper mediocre work” with other things.

Bollywood Life recently ran a poll where fans could go on and vote for the female actor’s best performance in 2019. Kangana won this poll, collected 37% vote while Alia Bhatt came second with 33%.

However, this is not the first time Kanaga attacked Alia as earlier she had blamed the Brahmastra actress and other celebs for inviting her to attend their films’ premieres but skipping her films’ screening.

Alia’s performance in Gully Boy garnered a positive response from the audiences and the critics alike. The film was also screened at Berlin Film Festival, receiving accolades from global fans as well. Meanwhile, Kangana’s film got a lukewarm response.
