Ali Abbas Zafar Ropes In Ishaan Khatter For His Maiden Production Venture

Ali Abbas Zafar, who made his directorial debut with Yash Raj Films’ Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), has established himself as one of the most prolific storytellers over the years. He has directed five films to date and all of them have been loved by the audience.

After delivering such blockbusters as Sultan (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Bharat (2019) in recent years, Ali Abbas Zafar is now branching out to production. According to reports, his maiden production venture is a love story, featuring Dhadak (2018) actor Ishaan Khatter as the male lead.

Spilling some beans on the untitled project, a source close to the development reveals to a popular English tabloid that the film might mount the shooting floor towards the end of the year.

The source goes on to add further that Ali Abbas Zafar, who has been involved throughout the entire scripting process, will be launching one of his associates as the director of the film.

We hear that the yet-to-be-titled film is set entirely in Mumbai. The team is looking at shooting the move in a start-to-finish schedule in the city. The team is currently busy finding an A-list actress opposite Ishaan Khatter.
