Akshay Kumar To Join Forces With Sajid Nadiadwala For A New Film?

While Akshay Kumar already has several films in his kitty including Good News, Mission Mangal, Laxmi Bomb, Sooryavanshi and Housefull 4, the megastar is recently said to team up with Sajid Nadiadwala for a masala actioner. The report stated that Akshay will join the project after he completes his shooting schedule for Laxmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi.

The source further said that the film is expected to come out in 2020. As of now, no official confirmations have been made regarding the same.

Earlier, during an interview, Akshay Kumar shared that he wants to explore different kinds of films so that he will not be labeled as typecast, who only does socially-relevant movies or films revolving around patriotism.

"I have learned that if I do different genres, I will not be tagged. Therefore, I decided I have to do different kinds of movies”, he said, “I’m thankful to people and the media for criticizing me to that point and bringing out the best in me”.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Mission Mangal. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film revolves around a group of scientist from Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO), who make a great contribution to the success of India's first interplanetary expedition, Mars Orbiter Mission.

It also features Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Kirit Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Kirit Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menen and is set to hit the cinema on 15th August.
