Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta's Wedding: Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor Liven-Up The Baaraat With Akash And Nita Ambani

Akash, son of the Indian richest industrialist Mukesh Ambani, is all set to tie the knot with childhood friend Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. A host of B-town stars graced the glittering wedding, which is considered as the Wedding of The Year. Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor were seen at the grand affair shaking a leg with groom Akash and his mother, Nita Ambani.

Some videos from the baraat procession which saw Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor dancing with Akash and Nita Ambani while Karan Johar and Aamir Khan moving to his grooves went viral on the Internet.

Singer Mika Singh sang some of the biggest Bollywood peppy numbers to set the rhythm at the wedding function. Shah Rukh attended the wedding with his wife, Gauri Khan. SRK looked every bit royal in the ivory sherwani while Gauri made heads turn in a silver embellished saree with feather detailing. Many more bigwigs from every walk of life, be it Bollywood, cricket, business, and politics were in attendance at the event.

A host of corporate Honchos joined the family including Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai, industrialists Ratan Tata and N Chandrasekaran, and global chief executives of the Bank of America, Samsung, and JP Morgan.

Bollywood A-listers had Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while the cricket world was represented by Yuvraj Singh, Hardik, and Krunal Pandya.

Meanwhile, the wedding venue was decked up with flowers, floral figurines, and faux waterfall.  The wedding ceremony on Saturday kickstarted the three-day wedding event. Following this event, Akash and Shloka’s families will host a grand wedding reception on March 11.
