"That Goons Attack Was Scary", Says The "Fixer" Actress Mahie Gill

The news of the TV celeb Mahie Gill and the entire cast getting attacked by a group of men had shocked the entire Bollywood a couple of days ago. Opening up about the incident to a famous news portal the actress said that the experience was very gruesome and terrifying and still the actress can't get past the shock the incident had caused.

As a part of the web series Fixer produced under the banner of Alt Balaji, the cast and the entire crew was on an outdoor locale when such a terrifying assault happened.

According to the crew, a group of at least 4 men who were drunk, attacked the sets of the upcoming web series with sticks and rods destroying the entire set. The incident happened at Ghodbunder Road where the crew was shooting in factory premises.

Soon a social media video by the producer, where the producer, Saket Saawhney, along with his entire crew was explaining the ill-doings of the miscreants went viral. Reacting to the widespread outcry caused by the video which raised a question over the lack of security by the police, the crew is convinced that the government will take some necessary actions and precautions to avoid any such incidents in the future.

The entire team along with director Soham Shah and Mahie Gill met the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis to inform him about the brutal nature of the attack. The crew also sought protection from the Chief Minister.

Post the meeting the actress, Mahie Gill told media that, "They (the miscreants) came to hit me, but I was rescued from that place. It was very scary. They were hitting everyone who was coming in front of them. Today, we came to meet Fadnavis sir because we don't want this to happen to anyone in the future."

She added, "Everyone shoots in that place. After two days, I will be shooting in that same place. They have created an atmosphere of fear over there, which is really wrong. I think after our meeting with Fadnavis sir, everyone will be benefited while shooting their projects."

The producer, Saket Saawhney also interacted with media voicing his concerns over celebs security. He said, "Lack of respect for law and order needs to be tackled. How will every person in this city go outside with a bouncer? Everybody must respect law and order. We are tax paying professionals. We pay our money and shoot."

Soon after the reports, the accused assailants Suraj Sharma, Sony Das, and Krishna Sonar were arrested by the Thane Police. Senior Police Inspector Kishore Khairnar (Kasarvadavali Police Station) informed the media that the assailants have been charged under IPC sections of 143, 180 and 326.
