Saif Ali Khan's Next Netflix Web Series "Taandav" Is Based On Political Thriller "House Of Cards"

Post his advanced foray with Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan is set to star in another web-arrangement, Tandav, which the entertainer says is on the lines of acclaimed American political spine chiller House of Cards.
A Netflix arrangement, House of Cards, spun around a lawmaker who climbed his way to the US presidential office. It included Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright in the number one spot.
Saif said the show depends on Indian governmental issues and is determined to a huge scale.
"I would prefer not to utilize American models, yet it's along the lines of House Of Cards, albeit set inside the system of Indian governmental issues. The plot considers different groups like Dalit legislative issues and UP cops and the entire nexus between them," the on-screen character said in an announcement.
Saif will assume the job of a lawmaker in the show, to be helmed by Bharat executive Ali Abbas Zafar.
"My character is Chanakya-like, in the presence of a young chief who originates from a special foundation and tries to turn into the PM," the Bollywood megastar hinted about his new role in film.
Saif is anticipating the arrival of Laal Kaptaan which will hit the screens worldwide on October 18.
His up and coming movies incorporate Jawani Jaaneman with Tabu and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior with Ajay Devgn.
Set in the 17th century, the Om Raut's directorial is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, unsung warrior of glorious Indian history and the military leader in the army of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire.
Ajay Devgn will be seen portraying the role of Subedar Tanaji Malusare, Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod and Kajol in the role of Savitri Malusare. It was scheduled for a worldwide release on 27 December 2019. The release date has been pushed back to 10 January 2020.
