"Naagin" Star Anita Hassanandani Is The Highest Paid Contestant Of "Nach Baliye 9"

Nach Baliye season 9 is all set to rock the television screens starting July 19. Bollywood juggernaut Salman Khan is not only producing the show but also the host for the launch episode. The actor will introduce the participants to the audience.

The show has already got the attention of the audience with the idea of both couples and ex-couples getting paired for the dance reality show. "Naagin" Actress Anita Hassanandani who will reportedly participate in Nach Baliye with her husband Rohit Reddy, is apparently the highest paid celebrity this year.

A recent report claims that Anita Hassanandani, who was offered the previous season as well, has been given a hefty amount for the show this year.

“Anita was approached even in the earlier seasons, however, it didn’t materialize. This year, the makers have offered her a good amount to participate in the show, which she couldn’t refuse," a source was quoted as saying.

In an interaction with IANS, Anita Hassanandani opened about her desire to be a part of the show and was quoted as saying, "I love to dance and I always wanted to be a part of Nach Baliye but couldn't take it up earlier owing to prior commitments. Now that I have more time on hand with fewer commitments, I can focus entirely on the show and do justice to all the performances."

"I am dancing after a long time, so I am right now working on myself and warming up my body. I'm trying to give my best in everything my choreographers are teaching me," Anita added.

Recently, a promo of the dance reality show surfaced on the internet in which Anita Hassanandani and Shraddha Arya reveal their faces and are seen grooving with their respective dance partners.

If reports are anything to go by, actress Raveena Tandon and choreographer Ganesh Acharya have been roped in to judge the dance reality show.
