Kasautii Zindagii Kay TV Actor Parth Samthaan's Father Passes Away After Hospitalization

In spite of immediately leaving the show’s sets after the announcement, Parth Samthaan's father drew his last breath on Friday by the time the actor reached the hospital.

Parth Samthaan, who has found his popularity after his performance in the famous soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay since 2018, rushed to the hospital in Pune on Thursday night after an announcement about the deterioration in his father's health.

A source close to Kasautii's sets said that Parth Samthaan's father had been admitted to hospital due to his old age, India Today reported. Unfortunately, in spite of immediately leaving the show’s sets after the announcement, Parth's father drew his last breath on Friday by the time the actor reached the hospital, the report added.

This reason caused the cancellation of the show’s Friday filming, and the TV show crew is planning to make a flight to Pune to join him.

In Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parth plays Anurag Basu, opposite actress Erica Fernandez in the role of Prerna Sharma and actress Hina Khan as Komolika Chaubey. It is a reboot of the 2001 series Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Previously, Parth Samthaan marked his appearance in Savdhaan India, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Webbed, and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
