Kalki Koechlin Opens Up About Playing Batya In “Sacred Games 2”

Kalki Koechlin is currently on a high thanks to the praises coming her way for her performance in Sacred Games 2. After the humongous success of Sacred Games in 2018, Netflix started streaming Sacred Games 2 on 15th August, 2019, which has garnered great response from the audience all over the world.

Kalki Koechlin, who joined Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pankaj Tripathi in Sacred Games 2, plays the character of Batya in the series. Batya comes from a very conflicted background. Born to a Jewish French father and a Palestinian mother, she was abandoned when she was a teenager.

Kalki also comes from a French family. However, she has been brought up in India. The actress reveals that global politics was not a topic of conversation at home for her.
