ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 nearly comes to an end as the first semi-final is finally underway. All eyes are on this hotly awaited match between India vs the high-profile rival New Zealand.
However, rain on Tuesday forced the semi-final encounter taking place at the Old Trafford to call off. For the uninitiated, the clouds began bursting when the New Zealand team scored 211/5 in 47th over of the first innings. The match is going to resume the next day, Wednesday.
The play was halted with just 3.5 overs left in the innings of NZ. In fact, the threat of rain was likely to be met even before the match kicked-off.
