Gauahar Khan, who has explored all mediums be it television, movies or web shows, is in news for being in talks with the makers of a high-profile television show.

Yes, you heard it right! Rumours are rife in showbiz that Gauahar Khan has been approached to play the iconic character of Komolika in Star Plus’ hit show Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

The actress will replace Hina Khan as Komolika on the show.

Ever since Hina Khan quit the show to pursue a career film, producer Ekta Kapoor has been looking forward to casting an actress who can do justice to the character of Komolika. It looks like that she has finally found Hina Khan’s replacement in gorgeous Gauahar Khan.

However, fans were left disappointed when Hina Khan, one of the highest-paid actresses on Indian television, bow out of the show to fulfil her movie commitments.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay, produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, airs at 8 PM on Star Plus.
