The actor and comedian Kapil Sharma and his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrah tied the knot on December 12 last year with Hindu traditional wedding rituals.

Comedy king of India Kapil Sharma who tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrah in December last year. Kapil told the funny fact to the leading entertainment portal that he did not know the number of guests who attended his wedding ceremony.
"My wedding venue was hustled with approximately 5,000 people, but when I looked around, I could see about 40-50 people only whom I knew personally," he was quoted as saying in a statement to a private TV channel. The Kapil Sharma show is the most famous and one the highest TRP television reality show which is related to the celebrity interviews and fun chat. The comedian married to Ginni Chatrah and shared information and incidents from his marriage life hilariously and comically.
Commenting on weddings, Kapil said, "You know, there were only 40 people at Saina and Kashyap's wedding. When Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married, they also hosted 40 people. Same was the case with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. I wanted to understand are the same 40 people who attended all three weddings?".

Post the wedding, Kapil hosted two receptions, one in Mumbai and one in Amritsar, Where he invited his relatives and celebrity friends from the Bollywood film fraternity.
Kapil's comedy show is the most popular television show in India. In 2013, he was awarded the CNN IBN Indian of the Year in the entertainment category and was ranked third in the Most Admired Indian Personality List by The Economic Times in 2015.
Kapil Sharma was born in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Jeetendra Kumar Punj was a head constable in the Punjab police while his mother Janak Rani is a housewife. He started his career as a stand-up comedian in various Comedy shows. He also debuted with director Abbas Mastan's movie "Kis Kisko Pyar Karu". Kapil has been known for his efforts in promoting animal rights. He and the cast of comedy nights appeared in a PETA campaign to promote adoption of homeless cats and dogs.
