Naagin 4 is a supernatural revenge drama produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. It stars Nia Sharma and Rashami Sharma in lead roles.

Naagin 4 is one of the most popular shows on Indian television. The fourth season of the supernatural revenge drama has been entertaining audiences on the small screen for a couple of months now. However, it has failed to replicate the widespread success of the first three seasons of the series.

The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic seems to have made the matter even worse for Naagin 4. With no shooting activities permitted due to COVID-19, all leading channels are forced to air old episodes, which has led to a steep decline in TRPs. Over the past two months, several non-performing shows have been pulled down without a proper ending. We hear that Naagin 4 is also going to meet the same fate.

Rumours were doing the rounds lately that the makers of Naagin 4 were planning to end the newly introduced character of Rashami Desai over budget issues. They were also considering to terminate Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria's characters.

But if a source close to the development is to be believed, Colors is planning to end the entire series. The source informs that the channels and the makers have come to a decision to end the fourth season making way for the new season immediately.

The fourth season did not work as expected and Rashami Desai's addition to the show only added to the budget constraints in this time of economic crisis amid others. Hence, after speaking to the production house, it was decided that not just Rashami, but Nia and Vijayendra's character will also be ending. But the decision is not taken on the basis of the budgetary constraints completely. The fact that despite all the experimentations, the show could not meet the expectations.

The source added that the actors have been informed about the decision and they will be shooting for the concluding episodes as soon as the lockdown gets lifted.
