"Bigg Boss Telugu 3" Breaks All Previous Records In TRPs

The television reality shows Bigg Boss Telugu 3 which kick-started on July 21 has become one of the highest show with TRP numbers. Host Nagarjuna Akkineni has broken all previous records of the season with his fans creating so much buzz about the show on every social media platforms.

Earlier, Junior NTR and Nani have hosted the reality show.

According to reports, Bigg Boss Telugu 3 has managed to secure the top spot in regional television channel with 17.9 ratings. Junior NTR managed to secure a TRP rating of 16.18 while the lowest of all was hosted by Nani which recorded TRP of 15.05 during launch episodes.

A source close to the production team, said, "Nagarjuna has been a tremendous actor in the South Indian film industry. His approval to the television show has taken the fans by surprise which led to more suspense. The content in the show this time would be much better and more interesting."

Nagarjuna Akkineni had earlier slammed the makers of such reality shows and had said, "I don't like the concept of the show Bigg Boss. I don't like a voyeuristic show, where you are watching what another person is doing. I don't like these things. It is almost like gossiping."

The third season of Bigg Boss Telugu 3 has received the highest TRP till date. Sharing the news with viewers on social media, Star Maa, tweeted, "#BiggBossTelugu3 makes a phenomenal launch rating of 17.9 TRP's which is highest for a show till date and also makes it to highest till date GRP's. All set for a celebration (sic)." Well, clearly in terms of popularity, Nagarjuna has managed to beat Nani and Jr NTR as a host.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna will be seen in a Casanova role in the upcoming film, Manmadhudu 2. The film also stars Rakul Preet in the female lead, and Samantha Akkineni, Keerthy Suresh in cameos.
