"Manikarnika" Actress Ankita Lokhande Starts Learning Indian Classical Form "Kathak"

Ankita Lokhande is a famous Indian television actress who made her debut in 2009 with long-running drama show Pavitra Rishta. Her appearance in the serial made her one of the highest paid actresses of the Indian television industry.

Ankita loves to learn new things, and she said in a statement: “I love dancing and I always wanted to learn an Indian classical dance form and what better than 'Kathak.' I love the way a dance form is mixed with the storytelling. I have just started and there is a long way to go”.

She had also participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa which explains her interest in the performing and learning new forms of dance. Later, Ankita participated in another reality comedy show Comedy Circus along with the famous comedian Kapil Sharma.

Ankita Lokhande, who was last seen with the Bollywood 'Queen’ Kangana Ranaut in the film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. She proved her ability in her spectacular performance in the movie. Playing Jhalkara Bai, Ankita got an appreciation for her attractive role in the Manikarnika.

Recently, Ankita has been in the headlines for her viral kissing video with the Mumbai based businessman Vicky Jain. In the video, they both were dancing on the beats of music at the wedding of their friend, when suddenly Ankita shared an intimate kiss with him.

Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande had been in a long relationship with her Pavitra Rishta co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. They broke up in 2016 and gave a big disappointment to their fans. Post her break up with Sushant she kept her love life private. Earlier while talking about Vicky Jain, Ankita had told to DNA: “I am not getting married soon. Right now my focus is on my career. There is no pressure from my family at all. They are quite chilled out about it. What will happen after marriage, anyway? Nothing. So I have chosen this career, and I am finally back, so I want to do it for myself and my family. Whenever I get married in the future, I will continue to work”.
