A 23-year-old ballet teacher recently made headlines because of her unusual story. The woman found out she was pregnant just a few hours before she gave birth.
A young woman named Lizzie Quah residing in Illinois, the US has shared her shocking story on video-sharing platform TikTok. She revealed how she moved to the emergency room in the middle of the night after suffering from severe cramps. The video is currently going viral on the Internet.
Lizzie described her pain as the worst cramps in her life and she even thought it was a kidney stone. Until when it was almost insufferable she told her mom to take her to the ER at around 2:30 AM on 23 June 2019.
In fact, the reason why Quah thought that she was having another kidney stone as she had developed one previously. This time around she thought that she knew how to handle it.
Doctors agreed to give the woman pain-relief drugs and she also had to practice a physical exam to test whether she was pregnant or not.
Turns out, the result truly blew her mind and she found out that she was having a baby that night. Just two hours after the physical exam, the ballet teacher gave birth to a baby girl, 6lbs 7oz.
Lizzie said that she hadn’t seen any sign of pregnancy and that made her have no clue about what was developing inside her belly.
Even though she gained weight a bit, she just thought this was the consequence of an unhealthy diet. She was also a bit more tired but it was because of a tight working schedule, the young ballet teacher thought.
Despite all this, she finally and luckily welcomed a healthy baby and she named her daughter Winnie June.
However, many people show their concern over the lack of sex education among youngsters. How a woman didn't know she was having a baby for more than nine months. A lot of netizens, especially women, worried about the health of both the baby and her mother.
