Alia Bhatt Calls Karan Johar Her Friend, Father & Family While Wishing Him On His 48th Birthday

Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s college-caper Student of the Year in 2012. The who shares an extremely warm relationship with each other.

Today Alia Bhatt is considered as one of the reigning queens of Bollywood. Well-known filmmakers queue up in front of her doors with scripts in their hands. Every leading brand wants to sign her to expand their reach among consumers.

All this could have not been possible had Karan Johar not spotted that glimmer in her eyes and later introduce her in Bollywood with his 2012 college-caper Student of the Year. Bhatt has become the most sought-after actress over the years, but nothing has changed between the two at all.

There is no denying the fact that Karan Johar has launched several actors over the past few years. But nobody is as dear and close to him as Alia Bhatt. The actress also seeks his guidance on several matters. In a nutshell, their bond seems to have only grown over the years.

Karan Johar turns a year older today, and there is nothing that can stop Alia Bhatt from sharing a heartfelt note for his mentor. As was expected, the actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a beautiful picture of him with KJo.

In the caption, she wrote a heartfelt wish for the filmmaker as she wished him countless moments of love and laughter. Calling KJo her friend, father and family, she wrote happy birthday and here’s to many, many, many more moments of love, laughs, movies and their uncontrollable need to pose for pictures and selfies.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar have collaborated for a fantasy adventure drama Brahmastra. Co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy, the film is being directed by Ayan Mukerji.

The two creative forces have also teamed up for a period drama called Takht. The multi-starrer film also features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Anil Kapoor on its ensemble cast.
