Vishwak Sen To Topline The Telugu Remake Of “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”

Vishwak Sen, who made his acting debut with Telugu film Vellipomakey in 2017, has bagged an exciting project. Speculations are rife in the corridors of the Telugu film industry that Vishwak Sen has been finalized to play one of the male leads in an upcoming Telugu film.

According to reports, the yet-to-be-titled film is an official remake of blockbuster Hindi movie Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). Directed by hit filmmaker Luv Ranjan, the film originally starred Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles.

Made on a shoestring budget, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety went on to rack in more than ₹ 100 crores at the domestic box-office.

Reportedly, the remake rights of the superhit comic-caper have been acquired by one of the leading production house, Suresh Productions. However, there is no update on who will call the shots for the project.

Buzz has it that the remake will star Vishwak Sen in the lead role. The actor also seemed to confirm the same by sharing a post created by one of his fan pages on social media. Details of his role and the rest of the cast are highly awaited.

The Luv Ranjan directorial revolves around two childhood friends who are inseparable. However, their friendship is tested when one of them decides to get married and settle down in life after failing in several relationships.
