Vijay Sethupathi’s Malayalam Debut “Marconi Mathai” Rolls Out Tomorrow

After impressing audiences with his powerful performances in several Tamil blockbusters, immensely talented actor Vijay Sethupathi has now set his foot in the Malayalam film industry with the upcoming movie “Marconi Mathai”.

Vijay Sethupathi never ceases to surprise his fans! Ever since making his acting debut in 2004, the talented actor has delivered one impressive performance after the other. After tasting great success as an actor and receiving awards and accolades from various corners, Vijay Sethupathi decided to don a producer’s hat and ventured into film production in the year 2014.
The actor turned producer with the film called Orange Mittai (2015) because he was really impressed with its storyline.
Now, Vijay Sethupathi has another surprise in store for his fans. The actor-producer has forayed into Mollywood. Sethupathi is gearing up for the release of his first Malayalam movie, titled Marconi Mathai.
The makers recently rolled out the trailer and songs of the movie, which received positive response from the audience. Now, the entire team is looking forward to its theatrical release. Directed by Salil Kalathil, Marconi Mathai enters theatres tomorrow amid great pre-release buzz.
While the film has Sethupathi playing himself in an extended cameo appearance, Jayaram and Athmiya will be seen in lead roles. It is touted as a light-hearted film which tells the love story of a security guard Mathai and a sweeper Anna. The basic plotline of the film sounds interesting. We hope the entire film turns out to be as interesting as it sounds.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is presently busy shooting for his several upcoming projects including Kadaisi Vivasayi, Sanga Thamizhan, Laabam, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Maamanithan, Uppena and Idam Porul Yaeval. According to reports, his rural mass family action entertainer Sanga Tamizhan is eyeing for Diwali release. Helmed by Vijay Chander, the film has Sethupathi playing a dual role.
