Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are reportedly coming together for an upcoming romantic film. Vignesh Shivan will call the shots for the project.

Nayanthara is one immensely talented actress working in the Tamil and Telugu cinema. The beautiful actress never ceases to enthral the audience with her impeccable acting prowess. If we talk about some of her best works, the list is endless as she has starred in a series of commercially and critically successful films over the years.

The latest we hear that Nayanthara is set to join forces with another powerhouse of talent Vijay Sethupathi for an upcoming romantic comedy film. It will be directed by filmmaker Vignesh Shivan who is currently producing a female-centric thriller Netrikann, headlined by none other than Nayanthara. It is worth mentioning that the first big break of Shivan, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015), also featured Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles.

The director has reportedly bought the two actors together once again. Earlier, Vignesh Shivan was set to work with Sivakarthikeyan, but he went on to make some major changes in his plans owing to the delay that was being caused in taking the film off the ground. To be made in Tamil, that movie has been shelved now.

With that film getting stalled, the director has roped in his favourite actors in his next film which will be made in Telugu. He has even kick-started the pre-production work for Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi starrer and is currently searching for the locations. The romantic comedy film, which is tentatively titled Kaathu Vaakkula Rendu Kaadhal, will be reportedly produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios.
