Superstar Sanjay Dutt Unveiled The Teaser Of His Marathi Debut Film "Baba"

Bollywood Superstar actor Sanjay Dutt Debuted with his first Marathi film Baba. The actor steps into the regional cinema industry with his new venture. Sanjay Dutt is as always super excited and curious about the film Baba.

Sanjay Dutt recently unveiled the teaser of his upcoming production venture Baba. The Marathi film is financed by Sanjay S Dutt Productions and Blue Mustang Creations.

The film is directed by Raj R Gupta, Baba marks the Marathi debut of Bollywood actor Deepak Dobriyal in the lead. Deepak Dobriyal is an Indian film and theatre actor. He had appeared in many Bollywood hits such as Omkara (2006), Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Dabangg 2 (2012), Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) and Hindi Medium (2017).

The movie also stars talented actors like Nandita Patkar, Aryan Meghji, Chittaranjan Giri, Spruha Joshi, and Abhijeet Khandkekar.

The teaser is filled with a child’s innocence. The film showcases the relation between Father and his son. The film seems to revolve around a young boy (Aryan) who is unable to speak, and yet finds pleasure in the small things. Baba is slated to release on August 2, 2019.

Sanjay Dutt had posted a special message on Twitter and wrote, “Grateful and proud to be blessed with these beautiful children who give my life so much meaning and purpose. Every day, I try to be as good a father to them as my dad was to me!".

Talking about the film, director Raj R Gupta said, “I truly believe emotions have no language and this has been beautifully conveyed by the actors in our film. It is a bittersweet tale of how a family pursues happiness over everything.”

Ashok Subhedar of Blue Mustang Creations remarked, “This is a story that will resonate with every age group due to its simplicity and innocence.”

Earlier, Sanjay Dutt took to the social media the first poster of the film and dedicated the film to his father. He wrote, “Dedicating our first Marathi film Baba to the person who remained steadfast in my life through everything! Love you Dad".
