Suniel Shetty To Star In Manchu Vishnu’s Crossover Film?

Suniel Shetty was most recently seen in Kannada film Pailwaan, also starring Kichcha Sudeep. Now, he has agreed to star in Manchu Vishnu’s crossover film.

Suniel Shetty, one of the most popular action stars of Bollywood, seems to have started focusing on his career more seriously in his second inning. He recently made his acting comeback with Kannada film Pailwaan (2019), co-starring Kichcha Sudeep. The actor received praises for his role and performance in the sports drama.

The latest buzz involving Suniel Shetty is that the actor is set to feature in yet another interesting project. Yes, you heard it absolutely right! News has it that the 58-year-old actor has been signed on to play an important role in Manchu Vishnu’s forthcoming crossover film directed by Jeffrey Chin. It will be primarily made in Telugu.

The star cast of the film also includes Kajal Aggarwal and Ruhani Singh as the female leads. Suniel Shetty has been roped in to essay the character of a cop. Reportedly, when the makers narrated the script of the film to the actor, he was mighty impressed with its storyline and his characterisation and immediately agreed to come on board.

Apart from playing the male lead, Manchu Vishnu is also producing the film under his production house. He believes that a talented actor like Suniel Shetty will bring a lot of depth to the character that he plays in the movie. His presence is certain to attract more eyeballs for the film. Suniel Shetty is expected to join the rest of the cast soon in Hyderabad.

Talking about Shetty’s other projects, the action star will soon be making his debut in Malayalam cinema with Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. The movie stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the title role.

The historical film also boasts the presence of Ashok Selvan, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles. Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham will be helmed by award winning director Priyadarshan.
