Siddharth Joins Forces With Karthik G Krish Once Again

Popular South Indian actor Siddharth is keeping quite busy these days as he is juggling several projects together. One of his upcoming film is Shaitan Ka Bachcha, directed by filmmaker Karthik G Krish. Even as Siddharth and Karthik G Krish are awaiting the release Shaitan Ka Bachcha, the actor-duo has wrapped up their second outing together. Yes, you heard it absolutely right! The two completed their next offering Takkar recently.

Takkar is an action romantic film which began its principal photography in February earlier this year. The movie is currently in the last leg of post-production. Confirming the same, Karthik K Krish informs a publication, “We started this film in February, and I thought I would speak about it only after it is done. Now, we are almost done with the post-production as well and should be able to release it by January.”

When asked about what led him to make Takkar, the filmmaker says, “While working on Shaitan Ka Bachcha, I had narrated this story to Siddharth, and he was game for it. Sudhan sir, who produced my first film, Kappal, has backed this one as well. I have cast Divyansha, who played one of the leads in the Telugu film Majili, as the heroine.”

Talking about the plotline of the film, Karthik adds, “The film is about two frustrated individuals who meet at a point in life, and how they change each other’s life. The two play extremely egoistic characters in the film. Siddharth has not done a lot of action films, and this one will showcase him in a different light.”

Besides Siddharth and Divyansha, Takkar also features Yogi Babu, Munishkanth and Abhimanyu Singh in important roles. Music director Nivas Prasanna has composed music for the forthcoming film.

Apart from Shaitan Ka Bachcha and Takkar, Sidharth will also be seen in ace director Shankar’s next Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh. Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 National Award-winning film Indian.
