Kabir Singh Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga To Join Forces With Mahesh Babu In A Telugu Film

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is riding high on the success of his latest film Kabir Singh, is all set to join forces with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in a new film.

An insider told Hindustan Times,

The source added that both Sandeep and Mahesh are now busy with their respective projects, therefore, the film is expected to go on the floors early next year.

Talking about Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest film Kabir Singh, the movie has collected over Rs 200 crore and become one of the biggest hits of the year so far. Starring Shahid Kapoor in the titular role, the film revolves around a successful doctor who then becomes self-destructive as he gets to know that his girlfriend is forced to get married to someone else.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi in which he played the role of a man named Rishi, who goes through three different stages and phases - a college student, a business magnate, and a farmer. The film managed to perform incredibly well at the box office and Mahesh’s role was all applauded.

Mahesh Babu is currently working on his forthcoming Telugu film Anil Ravipudi’s Sarileru Neekevvaru in which he will be getting into the skin of one military officer. The shoot has already started in Kashmir and the 43-year-old superstar is said to join the sets soon.

Produced by Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in the pivotal roles.  According to the makers of the film, Sarileru Neekevvaru is scheduled to hit the cinema in 2020 during the Sankranti festival.
