Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor Film’ Notebook and Kabir Singh To Not Release In Pakistan

After Total Dhamaal, Luka Chuppi, Notebook of Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor’ Kabir Singh is the next film is not going to release in Pakistan.

In the wake of one of the worst terror attack in India history, the Indian film industry is also taking every possible measure to come to the defence of the nation. The Pulwama terror attack claimed at least 44 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and triggered a wave of anger among the Indians. Total Damaal film producer then announced the film will not be released in Pakistan. Following by, Notebook and Kabir Singh of Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor is the next film to confirm not going to be screened in Pakistani’s cinema.
“We are not releasing our film ('Notebook') in Pakistan. Our upcoming films 'Kabir Singh' and 'Satellite Shankar' too will also not release there," producer Murad Khetani informed during Notebook’s promotional event. Notebook marks the debut of Mohnish Bahr’s daughter, actress Pranutan Bahl and actor Zaheer Iqbal.
On the same light, Kabir Singh directed by Sandeep Vanga also announced that it will not be released in Pakistan. The film has Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani joined the cast and will hit the cinema on 21 June 2019. Besides, other films such as Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala are also not going to schedule to release in Pakistan.
This is the latest move from the Indian film industry after All Indian Cine Worker Associations announced a total on Pakistani artist to work in Bollywood. Their latest statement read:
