"Saaho" Makers Spent 70 Crores For Prabhas's 8 Mins Action Thriller

Prabhas's next big-budget, multilingual film Saaho is continuing to make headlines and, it's all on a very good note.

The recent bits and pieces of revelation are raising the anticipation on another level too. This time the revelation was made by none other than the films prime Cinematographer Madhie.

According to the director of photography, an action sequence of Prabhas for the film was shot in Dubai and guess how much it costs? A whopping 70 Crore. Yes, you read it right. It not only just popped your eyes out but ours too!

The sequence is of just 8 minutes and it already had made a record for the costliest action sequence that was ever shot in Indian Cinema.

The film is getting shot for Hindi, Tamil and Telugu is made on a humongous budget of Rs 300 Crore. The film also features a whole level of talented artists which includes the ace actor Prabhas, Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor, other ace actors like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Arun Vijay to name a few.

According to reports, Prabhas will be playing the role of a spy, in a trench coat, hiding his face and also would be hiding his face for 40% of the screen time. The film is helmed by Run Raja Run fame director Sujeeth.

There was also an interesting revelation from the director. Sujeeth had offered Prabhas this film even before Baahubali and Prabhas had accepted the offer too.

When asked about his experience while directing Prabhas the director said, "I did not feel the pressure to direct a big star like Prabhas. He has faith in me and my work and that matters the most to me. Also, the producers and the team members showed confidence in me. But now that the film is gearing for a release in a few months, I can feel the pressure". He also added in the media interaction that, "I had the script of Saaho, which was ready before Baahubali. I narrated him the story and he just loved it. He was very keen and was on board straight away".

The film is hitting the screen in less than a month now on August 15th, 2019. It will clash with Bollywood biggies like Batla House starring John Abraham and Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar. Saaho is presented by T-Series and will be distributed in Hindi by AA Films.
