Rana Daggubati Is Gearing Up To Don Producer’s Hat

After tasting success in films, several actors go behind the camera and try their hands at direction or production. This has been a norm for years now. The latest actor to join the bandwagon is “Baahubali” star, Rana Daggubati.

Rana Daggubati is one of the busiest actors right now. Apart from Telugu, the handsome star is also working on a couple of Hindi movies. He is currently splitting his time between Bollywood and Tollywood. But his super busy schedule is not keeping Rana Daggubati from venturing into new domains.
According to reports, the Baahubali (2015) star is gearing up to don a producer’s hat. Of late, several Tollywood actors have been foraying into film production and minting huge money at the box-office. From Ram Charan to Pawan Kalyan to Mahesh Babu, almost every second leading actor in Tollywood has floated their production houses.
Rana Daggubati is the latest to join the bandwagon.
Buzz has it that Daggubati will be setting up his own moviemaking banner soon. He will officially announce the name of his production house in a couple of weeks. Reportedly, actor Raj Tarun will headline his maiden production venture, while filmmaker Annish Krishna has come onboard to call the shots.
Raj Tarun and Annish Krishna have previously worked together on romantic movie Lover (2018) and the upcoming untitled film will mark their second collaboration.
We also hear that the upcoming project has already mounted the shooting floor. It is currently being shot in Hyderabad at a brisk pace. The film is said to be a remake of Hindi movie, Dream Girl. A few changes have been made in the script as per the Telugu nativity.
Rana Daggubati currently has an interesting slate of upcoming films as an actor. Some of his forthcoming films include Haathi Mere Saathi, Hiranya Kashyap, Madai Thiranthu, Virataparvam 1992, Housefull 4 and Bhuj: The Pride Of India.
