Rajinikanth On Petta's Success: Credits Should Go To Sun Pictures And Karthik Subbaraj

Rajinikanth talked to the reporters outside his residence where he thanked Sun Pictures and Karthik Subbaraj for his movie Petta’s success.

Tamil megastar Rajinikanth has been filled with happiness as his new film “Petta” is receiving positive reviews from the fans and critics. In addition, the actor has credited the filmmaker for getting the best out of him. Rajinikanth, who came here on Thursday after a short stay in the US, was speaking to the reporters outside his home.

Petta was released worldwide amidst much fanfare on Thursday, with 2 couples opting for the special occasion to get married. Delighted fans busted a move to the drumbeats as well as poured milk upon the huge cuts-out of the 69-year-old megastar outside cinemas across the state. This has become a tradition when every new movie of Rajinikanth comes out.

Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the Tamil language action film “Petta” is one of the most anticipated films in 2019. It stars Rajinikanth with a strong supporting cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, M. Sasikumar, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram and J. Mahendran. Petta is considered as a clean mass entertainer with its solid storyline, which makes sure to give a grand treat to the audiences and fans. The film hit the big screens on 10th January, along with Nayanthara- Ajith Kumar starrer “Viswasam”.
