Prabhas Kicks Off Shooting For His Next Magnum Opus

Prabhas, who was last seen in multilingual action entertainer Saaho (2019) which did terrific business at the box-office despite being panned by critics all around, has started shooting for his next film. After the earth-shattering success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), Prabhas is set to headline yet another magnum opus which is being touted as a big-ticket pan-Indian film.

If sources are to be believed, huge sets have been erected at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad for the shoot. The team started shooting for the movie on 18^th January. Apart from Prabhas, Jaan also stars former Miss India Pooja Hegde in the lead role. Prabhas and Pooja are teaming up for the first time in their career. The rest of the cast is expected to be revealed soon.

On the technical front, Manoj Paramahamsa has been roped in as the cinematographer and Sreekar Prasad as the editor. Kamal Kannan, the VFX supervisor of Jaan, has confirmed that the film will hit the marquee in mid-2020. More details are expected to arrive soon.
