It has been more than two years since fans haven’t got a glimpse of southern superstar Prabhas on the silver screen. The actor, who attained meteoric fame after headlining Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), next stars in Saaho.
Directed by well-known filmmaker Sujeeth, Saaho is one of the hotly anticipated films of 2019. Besides the Baahubali star, the action entertainer also features Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff also play important roles in the high-profile movie.
Saaho is a multilingual film, which will roll into theatres in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It is being planned as one of the widest releases of 2019 and is expected to release across 5000 screens worldwide. According to reports, the film is being shot in Telugu and Hindi and will be dubbed in Tamil later.
People who have seen the Baahubali franchise would know that actor Sharad Kelkar had dubbed for Prabhas in the Hindi versions. But now it looks like the star is eager to give a different experience to his fans in North India.
So, instead of getting his voice dubbed by someone else, megastar Prabhas has decided to give his own voice to his character in Saaho. The actor has trained for more than a month with a teacher to polish his language skills in Hindi.
Speaking to a leading Indian daily, Prabhas said that a lot of preparations went into learning Hindi because it is not his first language.
The actor went on to add,
Saaho is set for its theatrical release on 15th August 2019.
