Nani was last seen in filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu’s mystery thriller Hit: The First Case. He currently has two exciting projects on his platter.

Nani, whose blockbuster film Jersey (2019) recently clocked one year of its theatrical release, has suddenly seen a huge surge in his demand in the Telugu film industry. Though every filmmaker wants to collaborate with him, his demand among new filmmakers has grown exponentially.

Nani is currently busy with two films: filmmakers Shiva Nirvana's Tuck Jagadish and Rahul Sankrityan's Shyam Singha Roy. The actor will resume the shoot for both the upcoming films once the national lockdown is lifted.

Meanwhile, the news is coming in that Nani may add several new projects to his resume amid the lockdown. Yes, you read it right! Tollywood is buzzing with news that the handsome star has been approached for a couple of projects over the past couple of weeks, one of them being filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu’s next.

Nani was last seen in mystery thriller Hit: The First Case (2020), which was directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Since their recent collaboration was a mega success at the box-office, it should not come as a surprise if the actor goes on to sign Kolanu’s next directorial on the dotted line. An official confirmation will be highly awaited.

Apart from playing the male lead, Nani had produced Hit: The First Case under his home banner Wall Poster Cinema. So, it remains to be seen if the actor will bankroll Kolanu’s next directorial as well.

If sources are to be believed, the actor and the filmmaker have not met each other personally to discuss the new project, they have just talked over the phone. The talks for this project are at the initial stage, and things will be finalized only after the two meet in person, most probably after the lockdown is over. Nani is also being considered for a film with director Vivek Athreya of Brochevarevarura (2019) fame.
