"Lucifer" Unseen Moment Proves That Mohanlal Is True Legend Both On And Off Screen

Mohanlal is undoubtedly the king of the box office although the younger generation of stars is steadily establishing themselves with good cinema and blockbusters. At the age of 58, the actor is still one of the most dominant personalities in the Malayalam film industry with more than 300 films to his credit, winning million hearts by his brilliant performances.

His latest release Lucifer has opened exceptionally well at the box office, smashing many Malayalam film records in its remarkable run. This political crime thriller has also become the fastest Malayalam film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box-office in just eight days.

Weeks after the release of Lucifer, director Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a behind the scenes footage from the sets, and it immediately went viral on social media. In the unseen video, Mohanlal was walking with 20 kgs sandbags in each hand, helping out his team members in the cold weather.

According to Prithviraj, the temperature fell below -16 degrees but the prominent actor still decided to stay with the crew instead of staying in a heated tent. This touching moment once again proves that Mohanlal is the real legend both on and off the screen.

Mohanlal’s gesture tugs at fans’ heartstrings and they have been showering him with praises on the video. Released on March 28th this year, Lucifer is the directorial debut of Malayalam heartthrob Prithviraj Sukumaran. Also, this film also marked Vivek Anand Oberoi's first appearance in the Malayalam industry. Besides the legendary Mohanlal, Lucifer also stars Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas and Saikumar in pivotal roles.
