Jagapathi Babu To Play A Key Role In Ashok Galla’s Debut Film?

Jagapathi Babu is one of the most versatile actors working in the Telugu film industry. Last seen in superhit historical drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019), the actor has been giving Telugu cinema a number of hits ever since making his debut.

With his strong on-screen presence, Jagapathi Babu has carved a niche for himself in his career spanning of 25 years. The noted actor lately has been in limelight for his roles as an antagonist. His 2014 film Legend saw him playing the antagonist and was well received by the audiences and from there on, he went on to feature in the negative character in films like Lingaa (2015) and Nannaku Prematho (2015).

Jagapathi Babu also went on to star as a villain opposite Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in his film Pulimurugan (2016). Ram Charan’s hit film Rangasthalam (2018) also featured him in a strong negative character. His performances in all the aforementioned films have been well received by audiences. And now the actor is all set to star in yet another film alongside Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla.

If reports are to be believed, the actor has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the debut film of Ashok Galla. The project was launched in Hyderabad amidst the fanfare. The makers of the film have already wrapped up the first schedule of the film. Jagapathi Babu joined the second schedule of the film which kicked off on 27^th December. Given his performance in a historic film like Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the actor has once again proved that he can easily fit into the skin of any given character.
