To celebrate the birthday of Vijay Sethupathi, the leading actor of the forthcoming historical war film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, last Wednesday, the producers leaked Vijay's first image in this movie.

Subsequently, Vijay also shared the motion poster on his Instagram together with a simple caption:

In this film, the actor plays the role of Raaja Paandi.

In this revealed motion poster, Vijay (not looking directly at the camera) appears in a warrior's armor, with a sword in his hands and a fierce look on his face. He seems to be ready to attack the ‘enemies’. We can also see many people who are probably soldiers in the background behind him. Vijay is said to play a character who speaks the Tamil language in this film.

The upcoming Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a Telugu historical biopic based on the life of freedom warrior Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Andhra, who rose up against the British during the 1800s.

The film stars Chiranjeevi, a Telugu superstar, in the leading role. In addition to Vijay, it also has an impressive cast including Nayanthara, Sudeep, Amitabh Bachchan (special cameo), and Tamannaah Bhatia.

The movie's teaser was revealed on August 22 to celebrate the birthday of the actor Chiranjeevi.

As for Vijay, he has achieved much success in his career and continuously got attention from the public. The film Petta, in which he stars along with Rajinikanth, is his first successful work in this year. He also had a big hit in the theaters last year when he took part in the romantic film 96 alongside the actress Trisha Krishnan. Vijay also appeared in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam directed by Mani Ratnam.
