Amala Paul Confirms She Is In Love, Says She Would Like "To Get Married And Have A Baby"

During a recent interview to The Indian Express, Aadai star Amala Paul revealed that she is in love and wishes to get married soon but kept tight-lipped about the name of her beau.

Amala Paul, who has previously experienced a failed marriage to director A L Vijay, said that she has found a strong support system in him and it was his love that healed her.

For those who don't know, A L Vijay and Amala Paul filed for a divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage. Reports stated that the couple called it quit because Amala did not want to give up her successful career and stay home. In an interview, Vijay's dad took a dig at her, claiming that her aspiration to star in many films took a toll on their relationship.

However, both Vijay and Amala have still maintained respect and dignity over the divorce and never blamed each other for their failed marriage.

On the professional front, Amala Paul has delivered stellar performances in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam namely Sindhu Samaveli, Deiva Thirumagal and Naadodigal. Her latest outing Rathna Kumar’s Aadai has been receiving many positive reviews from the audiences and critics.

The teaser, which features a nude scene, went crazily viral on social media with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tweeting her a shout-out and producer-filmmaker Karan Johar describing Amala as “beautiful, bold and badass”.

Apart from Aadai, her upcoming releases include Aadjeevitham, Cadaver and Adho Andha Paravai Pola.
