Aditi Rao Hydari is not only a popular name in Bollywood, but she has also established herself as one of the leading actresses in the South India film industry. From the past few days, rumours have been doing the rounds that the talented actress has been cast to replace popular actress Samantha Akkineni in filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi’s forthcoming film Maha Samudram.
Though the makers have not issued any statement to confirm the development, speculation is rampant that Aditi Rao Hydari will soon start shooting for the film in the city of Hyderabad. Responding to rumours, the gorgeous actress said that the media should wait for announcements from filmmakers rather than spreading their own theories.
The actress took to Twitter and wrote that a hit or flop cannot take away the credibility of an actor. This is in reference to the rumour that Samantha has been replaced in Maha Samudram because her recent film Jaanu (2020) failed to click with the audience at the box-office. However, the Padmaavat (2018) actress neither confirmed nor denied the news.
Commenting on a report published by a portal, Aditi Rao Hydari wrote that she genuinely feels that this is important to say that a hit or flop cannot take away the credibility of an actor. She requested the media to not encourage this kind of thinking. She added that let a director/producer give the respect to make their announcements in the way that they deem fit.
According to reports, Aditi Roa Hydari has been locked to portray the lead role in the movie. The actress immediately agreed to come onboard as soon as Ajay Bhupathi narrated the story to her. The movie is set to go before cameras soon. An official announcement is highly awaited.
