"Adheera Character Is Powerful As Thanos", Says Sanjay Dutt On "KGF Chapter 2"

"KGF Chapter 2" will mark Sanjay Dutt’s debut in the south Indian film industry. The Kannada film will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

KGF Chapter 2 makers revealed the first look of the film character Adheera yesterday. The Adheera character will be played by none other than superstar Sanjay Dutt.

Kannada star Yash returns as the protagonist in the second part of KGF only this time, he's pitched against Sanjay Dutt. An illustrated poster revealing the look of his character was unveiled recently.

Talking about his character in KGF Chapter 2 during a recent press meet in Mumbai, Sanjay Dutt said, “The character of Adheera in KGF is very powerful. If you have seen Avengers, you know how powerful Thanos is. Adheera is as powerful as him. In KGF’s first chapter, Adheera comes only in the end, but in the second chapter, he has a very strong presence and getup. This is the character I was looking for, and it has come to me.”

Yash took up to his Instagram to welcome Sanjay to the world of KGF and shared Sanjay Dutt’s look. "Turning 60 hasn’t and will not stop this Khalnayak from charming us! Let your legacy continue Sanjay Dutt. Happy Birthday, Sir. Welcome to the world of KGF,” he wrote.

Mr. Dutt re-shared the post on his timeline and wrote: "Thank you, Yash. Truly happy and excited to be a part of KGF as Adheera. See you soon monster!"

KGF  was released in five languages. It is a complete period drama and is set in the 70s and early 80s. Yash plays the role of Rocky, a slick and a suave person of the 70s era. Apart from Yash and Srinidhi, some of the Kannada actors include Ananthnag, Malavika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Vasishta N Simha.
