Karan Tacker Reveals He Received A Paycheque Of ₹1500 For His First Ad

Karan Tacker is one of the most popular actors on Indian television. He was recently seen in Hotstar Specials’ immensely successful webseries Special OPS.

Karan Tacker, one of the most handsome actors to grace the small screen of Indian television ever, has clocked 11 years in the Indian television space. The handsome hunk started out with a show named Love Ne Mila Di Jodi in the year 2009. He followed it up with such successful shows as Rang Badalti Odhani (2010-11) and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011-13).

Apart from headlining some hugely popular fiction shows, the actor has also done several non-fiction shows, including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (2014), The Voice (2015), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 (2016) and Nach Baliye 8 (2017).

There is no denying the fact that Karan Tacker has come a long way ever since making his acting debut. As he completes 11 years in the industry, he opens up about the first-ever paycheque that he received for a modelling assignment.

Talking to a newswire, Karan Tacker says that he started his journey by featuring in an advertisement for a cold drink brand based out of Gujarat. He took home a paycheque of ₹1,500 as his remuneration.

Before entering showbiz, Karan Tacker had a degree in business management. He had a business back then, which was undergoing a financial loss and he tried his luck in showbiz, which worked in his favour.

The actor goes on to add that he has had some great experiences in his journey. Even after spending more than a decade in the industry, it feels like he started yesterday. He says that the industry has always been very warm and welcoming towards him and the audience has also showered so much love on him.

Tacker was most recently seen in Hotstar Specials’ webseries Special OPS (2020), created by well-known filmmaker Neeraj Pandey. The show also marked his return to acting after a long break. The actor received widespread appreciation for his powerful performance in the series.
