YoYo Honey Singh believes that "a song original or remake should be “technically sound” first, and only then will it become a hit. The singer also feels that song should be made in such a way that the public can easily understand it and connect with it, musically."
Having a huge experience in the music industry as well as in Bollywood music, YoYo Honey Singh understands that today, the film industry is heavily dependent on the remakes of the retro songs. However, he doesn’t feel that this trend will disfigure the charm of the original music. Talking about the same YoYo Honey Singh said, “I think remakes are a good thing and there is nothing wrong about them. I just feel that they should be done in such manner that they don’t harm the flavor of the original song”.
"My aim, while creating them was that if I am touching a great artist’s work then the artist should also praise the new version. I feel remakes are a very good thing, and I think more of them should be made. Having said that, remakes should be good, and should always respect the original tune.”, he added.
He started his career as a performer at many college festivals, including Ansal Institute of Technology and Ramjas College, Delhi. Singh then made his debut as an actor in Bollywood cinema with the 2014 musical-thriller film The Xpose, alongside Himesh Reshammiya. The film was released on 16 May 2014, to mixed reviews from critics, though it was a box office flop. YOYO Singh was reportedly in a rehab center in Chandigarh, according to Jasbir Jassi. However, Jassi later denied saying this.
