Halsey Returns With New Single "Nightmare" And It Will Leave You Screaming To The Beat

“I know you guys are anxious for new music and thank you for being patient with me”, Halsey said about her new single, “I want it to be perfect”.

After the big success of her recent collaborations with Korean No.1 boyband BTS, Halsey has finally released her first solo single of the year named Nightmare.

With the empowering lyrics, Nightmare is an anthem for all young women out there who are getting tired of constantly being told to smile or how to use their body.

This song also comes along with a fiery and empowering music video, which is directed by two-time MTV VMA winner Hannah Lux Davis and features an all-women cast including Cara Delevingne, Debbie Harry and Suki Waterhouse.

Right after it was dropped online, Halsey also took to her Twitter to dedicate this song to young women. Check out her tweet below:

Meanwhile, Halsey is currently working on her third studio album, which she has previously said that it is ‘better’ than her debut album, Badlands. While the details about the process of any new singles have remained under wraps, the 24-year-old singer wrote on Twitter in March to assure fans that she is working hard on it.

“I know you guys are anxious for new music and thank you for being patient with me”, she added, “I want it to be perfect”.
