Aitraaz is one of the best Bollywood films of 2014. Aitraaz was a romantic thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan.

Produced by Subhash Ghai and stars like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and features Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Annu Kapoor in supporting roles.

The film tells the story of a man accused of sexual harassment by his female superior (played the character by Priyanka Chopra).

It was released on 12 November 2004 and Chopra received widespread critical acclaim for her performance as Sonia Roy. Aitraaz was a commercial success, grossing over ₹260 million at the box office against a budget of ₹110 million. It has been noted for its bold subject of sexual harassment.

At the 50th Filmfare Awards, she received two nominations: Best Supporting Actress and Best Performance in a Negative Role, winning the latter and thus becoming the second (and final) actress to win the award. Chopra also won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association Award for Best Actress and the Screen Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role. The film received ten nominations at the 2005 IIFA Awards, winning three.

Barfi

Barfi is a 2012 Indian comedy-drama film co-produced, written and directed by Anurag Basu. Set in the 1970s, the film depicts the story of Murphy "Barfi" Johnson (a deaf-mute Nepali boy from Darjeeling) and his relationships with two women, Shruti and Jhilmil (who is autistic).

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor (Barfi), Priyanka Chopra (Jhilmil), and Ileana D'Cruz (Shruti) in the lead roles. In Bollywood, playing an autistic girl is like walking on the razor edge.

Mary Kom is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports film with Priyanka Chopra directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

The film stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead role of the eponymous boxer, with Darshan Kumar and Sunil Thapa in supporting roles of her husband and mentor, respectively.

Mary Kom depicts Kom's journey of becoming a boxer to her victory at the 2008 World Boxing Championships in Ningbo. Chopra underwent extensive physical training for three months to attain a muscular physique and learned Kom's distinct boxing style.

Mary Kom received accolades award ceremonies across India. The film won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesale Entertainment and was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Film and Best Actress For Priyanka Chopra.

Additionally, Chopra won the Star Screen Award and the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actress In A Leading Role. In an interview with the Daily News and Analysis, Mary Kom described Chopra as the best actress to play the role, adding that her body was well structured, like that of a boxer.

She revealed that she channeled the grief of father's death into the film: "I started this film at the hardest point in my life, four days after my father passed away. All my grief, everything, I have shoved into this movie. A part of my soul has gone into it.

Bajiroa Mastani

Bajirao Mastani is a 2015 Indian epic historical romance film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who also composed its soundtrack. The film was jointly produced by Bhansali and Eros International's Kishore Lulla; it stars Ranveer Singh (Bajirao), Deepika Padukone (Mastani) and Priyanka Chopra (Kashibai).

The person who stole the show from right under Deepika’s nose (rings) is Priyanka Chopra. Her character of Kashi (played by Priyanka), Bajirao’s first wife is lovingly written and warmly enacted. Chopra’s pairing with Singh makes for a refreshing change and there is a playfulness to their scenes which is lovely.

Not only does Priyanka Chopra carry off her navaris (nine-yard saris) and naths with elegance, her child-like ways allow her to be a little more believable, and she can add an aura of dignity to her pain and suffering as the wronged wife. 7 Khoon Maaf

7 Khoon Maaf released internationally as Seven Sins Forgiven, is a 2011 Indian black comedy film directed, co-written and co-produced by Vishal Bhardwaj.

The film stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead role, with Vivaan Shah, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Aleksandr Dyachenko, Naseeruddin Shah and Usha Uthup in supporting roles.

7 Khoon Maaf released to universal critical acclaim and Chopra's performance was singled out in particular, with many reviewers describing it as "a role of a lifetime".

" Khoon Maaf is a Hindi black comedy film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. The film is based on Ruskin Bond's short story, Susanna's Seven Husbands. The most challenging one was that of the 65-year-old woman, for which the make-up team has used Priyanka's grandmother's photo to try and make her look as close to her as possible.
