Ranbir Kapoor Plays A DJ In Ayan Mukerji's New Movie "Brahmastra"? Read Details!

Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films in Bollywood, but the makers have kept the details about the film’s plot, storyline and its characters under wraps since the announcement of the project. However, there have been some reports making the rounds about Ranbir Kapoor’s character, stating that he will play a DJ who finds out that he has superpowers to unleash fire from his hands.

Also, the source said that besides Ranbir’s character possesses superpowers to unleash fire from his hands, all characters in the Ayan Mukerji directorial will have superpowers.

Additionally, as Brahmastra has some “high octane action sequences,” Ranbir has undergone hard training in different forms of martial arts involving Varma Kalai and Kalaripayattu before shooting the film.

Touted as Ayan Mukerji's most ambitious trilogy, Brahmastra is a supernatural modern day fairytale with a stellar cast of Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia, and Nagarjuna. Reportedly, Mouni Roy will be playing a villain in the movie. Brahmastra, which has the shooting in New York, London, Bulgaria, Israel, and India, is all set to hit the cinema in December 2020.

Earlier, the film’s director Ayan Mukerji spilled the beans on the name of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s character in an Instagram post. According to Ayan, Ranbir’s character is called Shiva, and that of Alia goes by the name of Isha.
