“Spider-Man” Returns To The MCU: Sony, Disney, And The New Agreement

After a few hours of releasing the new agreement between Sony and Disney around Spider-Man 3 movies, the chairman of Disney Bob Iger posted on his Twitter. The twist announced that "The Feud" with Sony had ended. Also, he has officially confirmed that the talented director Kevin Feige will be in charge of the main director in the third part of Spider-Man.
The new agreement was signed late on Thursday night with the involvement of Disney Studios co-chairs Alan Horn and Alan Bergman and Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman, and Feige.
Last month, Sony and Disney underwent a serious battle around the rights of the character. Disney required a 50/50 co-financer between Marvel and Sony for the upcoming Spider-Man projects whereas Sony Pictures offered that Disney would continue to receive 5% of first-dollar gross and maintain merchandising rights.
The disagreement gave fans in all parts of the world puzzled. However, the new agreement has been released on 27 September 2019, has calmed all down.
According to this new agreement, Disney will receive 25% of the total profit, which is larger than the number at 5% in the previous deal. Along with this profit, Disney will retain the right to merchandise and get the benefits from the trading of toys, clothes, and other products through the Spider-Man film.
The response of Hollywood celebrities around the return of Spider-Man to the MCU
The agreement has rocked nerds everywhere in rejoices, there is no exception with the spider Tom Holland and other celebrities.
As soon as hearing the good news of a returning in the MCU of Spider-Man, the actor posted a video of Leonardo DiCaprio from 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street: “I’m not leaving. I’m not leaving. I’m not f*cking leaving!”, these words were exactly the same with what he wanted to shout out at that time.
In the upcoming time, Tom Holland will join the third part of Spider-Man and another film of Marvel, which has not been revealed yet.

The new agreement between Disney and Sony seems to calm all the Spider-Man fans in all parts of the world after the previous battle. And all nerds are eager for the third part of this blockbuster film Spider-Man.
Disney and Marvel have confirmed that Spider-Man 3 would be on board on 16 July 2021, produced by Pascal Pictures.
